vineyards the grapes come to this Australian top red wine, each field having contributed different variations of the grapes. The Shiraz grapes make up 90% of the final blend, the last 10% comes from Grenache and the local Mataro grape. Twelve months of maturation in a mixture of new and old oak barrels from America and France, makes it a deep blood red wine that fills the glass with aromas reminiscent of rich red berries and dark chocolate. Dark cherries enhanced with, anise and a touch of pepper combined with creamy tannins give a perception of a smooth red wine with lots of flavor.
