Description
House Tully held both the titles Lords of Riverrun and Lords Paramount of Trident. Ruling over the vast water source, surrounded by multiple rivers, it is no surprise to see a silver trout on a red and blue background as their sigil. Married with Houses Stark and Arryn, they made powerful alliances during Robert’s rebellion.
Due to its location on the banks of the river Fiddich in Speyside and its the leaping trout logo, the Singleton of Glendullan seems to be an ideal candidate for House Tully whisky. Its delicate and elegant character is usually only seen in North American markets, so this release is an interesting marriage into the UK market.
This bottle is part of the eight malt whiskies released in the limited-edition Game of Thrones collection. Together, they mark the eighth and final season of this groundbreaking TV series. The eight rare bottlings have been paired with iconic Great Houses of Westeros and Night’s Watch to give a chance to taste unique characters of the Seven Kingdoms.
