LUIS FELIPE EDWARDS MERLOT Reserva 2016Y

From the Colchagua Valley come some of Chile’s finest Merlots, including this dark red, generous wine typified by ripe black fruits, roast aromas and laurel.

This wine presents a deep and bright garnet red color, with purple hues. Intense aromas of sweet red fruits, especially ripe plums with a floral hint, are balanced with smoky aromas which are reminiscent of vanilla. On the palate it is enticing and soft. Well-balanced with soft, mature tannins and freshness. Very nice finish, with medium persistence and very pleasing.
