Longmorn 16 Years Old 70cl 48% Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Released to replace the 15 year old, part of a relaunch of Longmorn, promoting the brand as a super premium single malt maker. This is a superb 16 year old, recommended.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt:
The nose is fresh and green. Notes of apple peel and bramley apple, hints of citrus and herbal notes. There are some notes of balsa wood, calvados and plenty of dry oaken tannins. The palate is rich and compact. Notes of lemon zest and a leafy greenness. A good level of tannins develops with a vinous character and spice. The oak is dry ad full. The finish is long and dry with a zesty quality.
