Product Details
This ultra rare 40 year old Lowland single malt was laid down at the Ladyburn distillery on the 21st November 1974 and bottled for the exclusive Private Cask Collection by William Grant & Sons Ltd on the 25th November 2014.
Yielded from first fill bourbon cask number 89/199-74 at a natural cask strength 48.6% ABV, this is one of only 157 bottles that is supplied in a lovely, heavy-oak presentation case with COA insert.
Single malt bottlings of Ladyburn are rarer than hens teeth; the distillery has been closed since 1975 and, considering it only first started operating on the Girvan grain distillery site nine years prior in 1966, there was very little single malt ever released. It makes bottles like this even more special and highly sought after by whisky collectors and connoisseurs alike.
