Description
A Gourmand and Generous Brut Champagne
The oldest Champagne House with a history dating back to 1584, Champagne Gosset has a unique identity, expressed through the distinctive shape of its bottle, which was inspired by the “antique” bottles used in the 18th century. The Gosset Grande Réserve is the estate’s emblematic flagship cuvée, bearing Gosset’s signature “subtle and refined” style.
A blend of 45% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier from several different villages, including Aÿ (where Gosset is located), Ambonnay and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, the Champagne Gosset Brut Grande Réserve spent at least 3 years in the estate cellar before seeing the light of day. With 8 grams of sugar per litre, this is a generous wine, showing off a beautiful golden colour. Characterised by plenty of fresh fruit, the nose is generous, exuding yellow fruits, like plum. On the palate, the generosity of the Brut Grande Reserve de Gosset is reflected in its great volume, which is balanced by delicate aromas of white flowers and a certain acidity, the source of freshness, highlighted by citrus notes.
This wine is not only gourmand but also gourmet, pairing beautifully with a wide range of dishes, including poultry, seafood and hard cheeses.
