Glenfarclas 12 whiskey, originally bottled and intended for export and sale in the tourism industry, has a lot of sherry and fruit in it. In 2006, it won the title of “Best whiskey with a touch of sherry” at the Single Malt World Cup (World Cup of Single Malt Whisky), and in 2007 and 2008 it won gold at the Stockholm Beer and Whiskey Festival.
