Glen Scotia 18 years old (blue Bottle) from this Campbeltown distillery.It has a good balance of sweet and bitter fruit underpinned with the bourbon casks delicate vanilla layers. Remarkably light, fresh and vibrant.The palate is soft and silky smooth. The tang of the lemon and grapefruit is heightened by the light ginger and cinnamon spices and then evened out by luscious peach and maple syrup.
Finish: well balanced zesty mouth feel with a delightful light pecan toffee after taste
