In 1942, Don Julio Gonzalez had the vision to create a luxury tequila brand, using only the highest quality blue agave grown in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. His crops are spaced further apart meaning they have greater room to grow healthily and reach maturity, therefore creating a better spirit. Barrel aged in smaller batches for eighteen months in American white-oak barrels, Don Julio Anejo Tequila is a testament to the craft of making a superior tasting, aged tequila. Rich, distinctive and wonderfully complex, its flavour strikes the perfect balance between agave, wood and hints of vanilla. Best served neat in or on the rocks.
