Cru de la Maqueline Bordeaux AOC 2015

Description

Cru La Maqueline is a 60 hectare estate — of which thirty are planted to vines — located just outside of Margaux on the left bank of the Gironde Estuary. The term “Cru” is interchangeable with Château, and has traditionally been used to distinguish La Maqueline and their wines from the surrounding estates. In addition to making Bordeaux wine, the estate raises and trains champion quarter horses. Throughout the property are barns, stables and cowboy paraphernalia resembling the Old West in the United States, which is why the symbol of the estate is a grape leaf and a horse head.
