Description
Brigitte Darribéhaude manages around twenty hectares in Saint-Laurent-des-Combes, to the east of Saint-Émilion. It also exploits this small vineyard of pure Merlot, immediate neighbor of the Soutard and Cadet-Bon castles, to which the vines belonged in the 19th century . The flagship Libournais grape variety gives here a ruby wine with light brown reflections. The nose is already charming, well balanced between ripe Merlot and vanilla wood. The mouth does not disappoint, round and fruity to perfection, the tannins being well melted. The whole, harmonious, will be appreciated quite young but can also be kept for two or three years.
