Description

The Beefeater London Dry Gin is a perfectly balanced gin that convinces in its entirety. If you notice the fruity scent of orange, lemon and juniper at first, you will be won over by a full-bodied taste of citrus aromas and spicy tones of angelica root and almond the next moment. In the finish, the Beefeater London Dry Gin develops a dry and pleasant spiciness that lingers on the palate for some time.

The basis for the Beefeater London Dry Gin is a gin recipe from pharmacist James Borugh that dates back to 1820. According to this recipe, the Beefeater London Dry Gin is still distilled today, more than 200 years later, in a distillery of the same name in London, England. The Beefeater London Dry Gin owes its name to the London-based guardians of the Tower of London, who have always been affectionately called Beefeater.

The nine botanicals used in the production of Beefeater London Dry Gin: lemon peel, orange peel, liquorice root, juniper berry, coriander, almond, angelica seed, angelica root and lily seed. These are placed in grain alcohol for 24 hours before the actual burning process. As a result, the grain alcohol absorbs the aromas of the botanicals and is then distilled four times.

Finally, the distillate is mixed with demineralized water from Scotland so that the Beefeater London Dry Gin can be bottled with an alcohol content of 47%.

The Beefeater London Dry Gin is presented in a transparent, cuboid bottle with a red cap and red Beefeater London lettering. The color red can also be found on the label of the gin in the form of an English beefeater, as it stands for the tradition and the name of the gin.

The Beefeater London Dry Gin is ideal for the preparation of cocktails and long drinks. A classic gin and tonic is recommended for this. In combination with a Fentimans Tonic Water or a Thomas Henry Tonic Water, the perfect gin and tonic is created for every occasion.
