Description
Glenfarclas 105. 105 British proof its meaning has evoloved from the word prove. You used to have to prove you had made whisky. To do this 3-400 years go when a customer asked the maker to prove you had made whisky then the alcohol would be mixed with gunpowder and lit. if it exploded you have proved you had made whisky. 100 being the level it would still explode. luckily today we have alc.vol and 105 equates to 60% alc/vol
