- TASTING NOTES
- The 2014 FAY Cabernet Sauvignon has a fragrant nose of ripe blackberry and raspberry along with notes of sweet fig, cinnamon and violet. The palate is elegant with silky tannins and a core of rich fruit with a hint of crème brulee. This top-rated Napa wine finishes with a lingering berry pie character.

Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars was founded in 1970 by Warren Winiarski and is arguably one of the most important California wineries having won the Cabernet Sauvignon competition at the famous 1976 Judgement of Paris. The Fay Vineyard is one of the iconic sites of the Napa Valley and was first produced as a separate bottling in 1990. It is renowned for producing wines with an abundance of red and black berry character, alluring perfume and a lush, fine-grained texture. From the excellent 2014 vintage, this is a wonderful release with around 20-25 years of potential evolution.
