Strathisla 12 Year Old – now this is one tasty dram! With hints of chewy oak on the nose as well as candied fruit peels and some floral notes, it promises a lot. And then delivers, with a nicely malty palate, Danish pastries dusted with cinnamon and sultanas as well as baked apple and festive mince pies. Mmmm.
