Dakin family, founded the factory, has been closely associated friendship and working relationship with John Grinoll family. In 1870, the plant began to manage Grinoll family, and the name was changed to G & J Greenall, which has become synonymous with quality gin. The distillery remained in the hands of Grinoll family, passing from one generation to another. By 1960, due to the increased popularity of gin production was moved to a large building in front of the brewing plant Grinoll. In the following decades, there was an impressive growth of the company, including through the launch of vodka “Vladivar” in 1971.
