- The Champagne House Ruinart
- The Ruinart House was founded in France as early as 1729 and has a long and successful history of tradition. While 170 bottles were sold one year after the company was founded, in the following year 3000 bottles have been sold. Thanks to talented personalities with constantly new ideas, the company was able to maintain its champagne on the market for generations, right up to the present day. In 1817 the family was finally even ennobled and has since been called “Ruinart de Brimont”.
Ruinart’s head office is now located in the Rue de Crayères in Reims – anyone interested in high-class champagne can even book guided tours here. The grapes come from Premiers Crus of the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims, where the calcareous soil allows them to develop particularly well. The fruits finally experience their ripening process in chalk cellars. - Colour
- The colour of this exclusive champagne is a shiny pale gold with light green reflections. Its iridescent lustre is particularly noteworthy. From the clear Ruinart Blanc des Blancs, persistently active pearls emerge.
- Smell
- The Ruinart Blanc des Blancs exudes an intense smell of ripe citrus and other fruits, complemented by floral notes.
- Flavour and aroma
- Here the taste of nectarines, peaches and citrus fruits such as grapefruit, lime and lemon unfold first, followed by notes of almond, brioche and mint. In the subsequent aroma white flowers are perceptible. Freshness, softness and harmony are the main features of Ruinart’s Blanc de Blancs. The result is an intense taste experience combined with special originality.
- Serving recommendations
- The Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is very suitable as a summer aperitif due to its fresh taste. Accompanying the meal, it harmonizes perfectly with seafood, fish and shellfish, for example.
