Description

Becherovka Bitter is a delicious, bitter, 100% natural, traditional and high-quality herbal liqueur. For those, who drink Becherovka, it isn’t new this popular classic among Czech alcoholic drinks is a product without any chemical preservatives, artificial food dyes and emulgents. It’s only about water from Karlovy Vary, high-quality spirit, natural sugar and a highly specific and harmonic mix of herbs and spices – that’s all, what Becherovka is made of.

In 1805 a doctor called Christian Frobrig gave before his leaving from Karlovy Vary a recipe to Josef Becher. Two years later Becher started to sell a liqueur called “English Bitter”. Later Becher started to sell the liqueur named after the family – Karlsbader Becherbitter – with this name it was known to the world until 1945, when the German family was expelled abroad. The distillery and recipe were nationalized. Today you can buy this liqueur under the Czech name “Becherovka”.

Today Becherovka is exported to more than 40 countries in the world. Germany, Slovakia, Ukraine and Russia – these countries belong to the group of the strongest export markets of the brand. Moreover, Becherovka is sold to even more distant countries – Japan, Brazil or Australia.
